History and Version of Android

Android, Inc. was founded in Palo Alto, California (US) in October 2003 by Andy Rubin add other three friends Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Crish White to develop Android. The first use of the company as an operating system develop digital camera.

• Google acquired Android Inc. on August 17, 2005, including Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, and Crish White. At Google team led by Rubin developed by the mobile device platform powered by the Linux Kernel.
• On November 5,2007, The Open Handset Alliance including Google, device manufacturers as HTC, Sony and Samsung.
• The first Android Smartphone was HTC, released October 22,2008.
