A platform is 32bit and 64 bit.

Android application normally are written using Java as the programming language but executed by means of a custom VM called Dalvik.

The framework starting with a technical explanation of the Android Software stack, followed by a look at what's included in the SDK, an introduction to the Android libraries, and a look at the Dalvik VM.
